Summary
ISBT 128 provides a standardized class name of FECAL MICROBIOTA with attributes to account for characteristics such as cryoprotectants, storage, temperature, processing status, and preparation. ISBT 128 product description codes assigned to Fecal Microbiota products will fall within the range of W0001 to W0999. The class names and attributes used for coding fecal microbiota products can be found in chapter 10 of the ST-002 ISBT 128 Standard Terminology for Medical Products of Human Origin document.
