FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Redlands, California, Dec 8, 2025 ICCBBA, the global nonprofit organization that develops and manages the ISBT 128 Standard for medical products of human origin (MPHO), is proud to announce the launch of its refreshed brand identity and new website, www.iccbba.org. This new domain replaces the organization’s previous website URL. The brand refresh and new website represent ICCBBA’s continued evolution as a global leader in specialized healthcare informatics standards and our enduring commitment to advancing traceability and standardization across healthcare systems worldwide.

With modernized functionality and a refined visual identity, ICCBBA’s new digital platform provides improved accessibility, streamlined navigation, and an enhanced experience designed to support MPHO professionals across all sectors. Visitors can explore expanded educational resources, a strengthened technical library, and new education hub, and a new vendor tool that makes accessing ISBT 128 Standard information easier and more intuitive.

The MPHO pages are a new section that strengthens ICCBBA’s role as the international curator for MPHO terminology, coding, and labeling, ensuring professionals across all fields receive clear guidance and tools to implement ISBT 128 accurately and consistently.

The brand refresh and website upgrade have been important steps in clearly identifying ICCBBA, the organization, and improving user resources to help them adopt and use the ISBT 128 Standard. The project involved all of the team and leadership of ICCBBA and really helped to align everyone around who we are and what we do. The new logo takes the old globe logo and brings it up to date, re-emphasizing the global nature of the organization,” said Eoin McGrath, Executive Director of ICCBBA.

“After more than a year of intensive teamwork, ICCBBA now has a new look featuring updated visuals, typography, and a redesigned website. This initiative goes beyond a simple visual refresh as we have completely streamlined our brand identity to better reflect ICCBBA’s mission, global focus, and the over 30 years of experience we deliver. This new look truly reflects where we are today and our future direction,” Mohammed Farouk, Board of Directors Chair of ICCBBA.

ICCBBA is used solely as the organization’s name and no longer functions as an acronym.
