1. How do I return to the homepage?

Underneath the menu banner at the top of each page is a "breadcrumb trail." For example, if the "breadcrumb trail" looks like this: Home > About ICCBBA > Mission and Goals. Simply click on “Home.”

The homepage can also be navigated to by clicking on the "ISBT 128 More than Identification" logo at the top-left corner of each page.

2. Where do I log in?

The login area is on the left side of a page, beneath the side menu. Keep in mind that scrolling down towards the bottom of some pages will make the login area not visible.

3. Where is the Site Map?

The Site Map link is on the left side of any page under the side menu and login area.

4. Where is the ISBT 128 Product Description Code Database?

The Product Description Code Database can be found under the "Tech Library" dropdown menu—hover your mouse cursor over “Tech Library,” then “Databases/Reference Tables,” and click on “Product Description Codes.” Keep in mind that you must be logged in to see the download link for the database.

5. Where is the ISBT 128 Product Lookup Program?

The Product Lookup Program can be found under the “Lookup Tools” dropdown menu—hover your mouse cursor over “Lookup Tools,” and click on “Find Product Information.” Keep in mind that you must be logged in to see the download link for the program.

6. How do I request a new Product Description Code?

Assuming the product requested can be sufficiently described with current ISBT 128 terminology, you would complete an online product request form. Because these forms are specific to product type (e.g., blood, cellular therapy, etc.), they are located in the various Subject Areas. For example, for the Blood Request Form, navigate to the Subject Area tab and select "Blood Transfusion," then select "Request a Code" from the side menu.

7. Where is the Registered Facilities Database?

The Registered Facilities Database can be found under the “Tech Library” dropdown menu—hover your mouse cursor over “Tech Library,” then “Databases/References Table,” and click on “Registered Facilities.” Keep in mind that you must be logged in to see the download link for the database.

8. Where is the Facility Identification Number (FIN) Information Search feature?

The Facility Identification Number Information Search feature (or colloquially known as the FIN Lookup Tool) can be found under the "Lookup Tools" dropdown menu—hover your mouse cursor over “Lookup Tools,” and click on “Find Facility Information.”

To find ICCBBA's contact information, click "Contact Us" from the ‘About ICCBBA’ dropdown menu, or click the ‘Contact Us’ button located on the top-left portion of a page.

Various training material can be found under the “ISBT 128 Basics” dropdown menu—hover your mouse cursor over “ISBT 128 Basics,” and click on “Basic Educational Materials.”

Introductory booklets can be found under the “ISBT 128 Basics” dropdown menu—hover your mouse cursor over “ISBT 128 Basics,” and click on “Introductory Booklets.”

13. How do I get an ICCBBA website password?

Typically, ICCBBA licensed facilities/vendors that are up to date on licensing fees are eligible to receive a password. To request a password, hover your mouse cursor over the "Registration and Licensing" dropdown menu, and click on "Request Password."

Keep in mind that password assignment can take up to two working days. An email confirmation will be sent to the password requestor upon completion of the password assignment.

14. How do I change my password?

Changing a password involves the same process of requesting a new password. To change a password, simply follow the instructions outlined in question #13 (directly above).

15. Where do I update my facility's account information?

You must be logged in to update your facility's account information. Updating this information requires completing the Update Contact Information Form. To update your facility’s account information, hover your mouse cursor over the “Registration and Licensing” dropdown menu, and click on “Update Contact Information.”

16. How long does it take for my message to post on a message board?

On a weekday, your post should appear within 24 hours. ICCBBA needs to review posts before they go online to ensure accurate information regarding ISBT 128 gets posted on the site. Any posts made on a weekend will typically be published on the following workday.

17. Can I get notifications when the message boards are updated?

Unfortunately, because passwords are associated with facilities rather than individuals, it is not possible to subscribe to message boards at this time. The message board would need to be checked periodically, in order to view answers/comments to questions.

18. What is an RSS Feed?

The RSS feed allows users to receive amendments to ICCBBA's "What's New" feed automatically.

If you subscribe to the "What’s New" RSS feed, you will see an icon on your browser that says, “What’s New at ICCBBA.” Click the link and you should see the latest from ICCBBA. Depending on your email system, you may also receive notices in your RSS Feeds folder.

19. How do I subscribe to the "What's New" RSS feed?

From the homepage, navigate to the What’s New section at the top of the page. Select "RSS feed," immediately below the What's New at ICCBBA link.
